Yong Siew Conservatory congratulates 44 music graduates from its first graduating class who received their degree scrolls at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Commencement ceremony on 6 July 2007. The Bachelor of Music degree is jointly awarded by NUS and the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA.

The graduates, who come from 11 countries across the Asia-Pacific region, were the pioneer batch of students who joined the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory when it opened in August 2003.

Mr Goh Yew Lin, Chairman of the Conservatory Governing Board said, “The Yong Siew Toh Conservatory looks forward to seeing students make a significant impact in the coming years to the arts world both in Singapore and beyond. We hope they will stay in touch with Singapore and each other, no matter where their careers may take them.”
