The online system will be closed for migration during this period. The new URL to log in to iRIMS-IRB on 1 Apr 2024 will be https://nus.prod-sg.cayuse.com. The system will be on the same platform as the rest of the iRIMS modules after migration. Please refer to the information sheet  (requires NUS network / VPN to download) on how to navigate to the IRB dashboard after this migration exercise.

From 1 Dec 2020, all submissions (new application, protocol amendment, renewal, closure, incident) to NUS-IRB must be submitted through the iRIMS-IRB.

iRIMS-IRB is the first module to be implemented and will gradually replace the existing, manual paper-based ethics submissions to the NUS Institutional Review Board (NUS-IRB). The new system includes features such as online submission of various compliance applications, and automatic routing to facilitate review and approval.

PIs and researchers can now submit new IRB applications involving human subjects and/or human biological materials and/or human data online using the system.

With the expiry of HBR consent-taking exemptions, activation of Tissue Banking Regulations and related regulatory amendments effective 1 Nov 2019, the Research Compliance and Integrity Office (RCIO) has issued an announcement on appropriate consents, NUS Tissue Bank principal person-in-charge (PIC), and updates to their Incidental Findings policy.
